THE FULL TEACH+ PORTFOLIO
Four Courses. One Complete System.
Teach+ offers a suite of complementary courses that together build a whole-school culture of safety, understanding, and positive intervention. Each course stands alone — together, they are transformative.

Positive Intervention
Equip your whole school staff with the knowledge and skills required to effectively support children's social and emotional well-being. This course allows staff to support children who may display challenging behaviour, covering a range of de-escalation techniques as well as restrictive physical interventions to keep children safe. It also importantly covers government guidance for the use of force in schools.
- Six structured modules including legal frameworks and well-being
- Trauma-informed, psychology-led approach throughout
- Delivered by Ofqual-assessed trainers on-site at your school
- Ongoing access to clinical and education psychologists included

Trauma Informed Practice
Develop your school into a Trauma Informed setting, allowing all staff to understand and work together to support children who have faced adverse childhood experiences. Nearly half of all UK children have been exposed to at least one Adverse Childhood Experience. This course prioritises the emotional and psychological well-being of children, acknowledging that trauma can have a profound and lasting impact on behaviour, learning, and development.
- Five core trauma-informed principles embedded throughout
- Neuroscience of trauma and ACEs explained clearly
- Whole-school cultural shift — not a single intervention
- Restorative practice, regulation and co-regulation strategies

Youth Mental Health First Aid
With one in five children aged 8–16 now having a probable mental health disorder, the need for robust, evidence-based support in schools has never been more critical. Train staff to understand and support a child or a member of staff who may be experiencing a mental health issue — equipping them with the skills to provide initial support, much like physical first aid, until professional help is available.
- Designed and delivered by practicing Clinical Psychologists
- Anxiety, mood disorders, self-harm and crisis response
- Builds tiered system of mental health support in your school
- Staff confidence to react to challenging situations effectively

Rewire
Rewire is a transformative training programme that equips school staff with practical, evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to support children's neurological development and emotional well-being. Grounded in neuroscience and designed collaboratively by a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Ofqual-assessed trainers, Rewire empowers educators to actively shape the way children think, feel, and respond — building healthier, more resilient neurological pathways from the inside out.
- Designed by a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Ofqual-assessed trainers

COURSE DEEP DIVE · TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICE
The Five Core Principles of Trauma Informed Practice
A trauma-informed approach is not a single intervention but a whole-school cultural shift. Our training is built around five core principles essential for creating a safe and supportive environment where students affected by trauma can learn and grow.
| Principle | In the classroom & school environment |
|---|---|
| Safety | Environments must be physically and emotionally secure. |
| Trustworthiness | Operations and decisions are transparent to build trust. |
| Choice | Individuals are provided with clear options regarding their care. |
| Collaboration | Staff and individuals make decisions together as equals. |
| Empowerment | Individuals' strengths are recognised, validated, and built upon. |
