We train school staff to understand, prevent and safely handle challenging behaviour
Every school gets Ofqual-assessed trainers and ongoing access to a clinical psychologist.
Behaviour training built on prevention
Most challenging behaviour can be prevented. Positive Intervention is our whole-school training programme. It teaches staff why pupils behave as they do, how to calm a situation before it becomes a crisis, and how to act safely and lawfully when physical intervention is the only option left.
Physical techniques are taught as a last resort and make up one module of six. The rest is about understanding, prevention and recovery.

Why schools choose Teach+
Trainers assessed independently, every year
Our lead trainers are assessed externally against a regulated standard, every year. The people checking their quality do not work for us.
Psychology included, not sold as an extra
Every package includes ongoing access to clinical and education psychologists. Your staff can ask for advice about a pupil, an incident or their own wellbeing long after the course has finished.
