Teach+ sponsors Most Inspirational Specialist School at the Educate Awards 2026

SEO description: Teach+ Positive Intervention is proud to sponsor the Most Inspirational Specialist School award at the Educate Awards 2026, alongside Thrive Education Group.

We’re proud to sponsor the Most Inspirational Specialist School award at this year’s Educate Awards, alongside our sister company, Thrive Education Group.

About the Educate Awards

Organized by CPMM Media Group, the Educate Awards celebrate the schools, staff and pupils of the Liverpool City Region, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. This year’s ceremony takes place at Liverpool Cathedral. You can see the full list of sponsors on the Educate Awards website.

Why specialist schools matter to us

Staff in specialist settings support children through some of their hardest moments, often every day. Doing that well takes skill, patience and a real understanding of each child. It is exactly the work our training is designed to support.

“Every day our trainers see the skill and compassion school staff bring to supporting children through distressed and challenging moments. The Educate Awards recognise that work, and we’re proud to sponsor Most Inspirational Specialist School. Specialist schools show what’s possible when staff truly understand children, build trust and help every child feel safe. That’s the heart of what we teach, and it’s a privilege to celebrate the schools that do it best.”

How we support school staff

Our CPD-accredited positive handling training is trauma-informed and designed by Chartered Clinical Psychologist Dr Carol Sadler. It is delivered at your school by Ofqual Assessed Tutors. Staff learn to prevent and de-escalate distressed behaviour, repair relationships afterwards and use NFPS-certified physical intervention safely when it is genuinely needed. Every package includes access to psychologists.

Working together with Thrive Education Group

Thrive Education Group helps schools across the Liverpool City Region find vetted, reliable staff. We train Thrive’s staff, and together we help schools find the right people and give them the skills to support every child.
